get reaquainted with the familiar spot, which is welcoming walk-ins
only. Brisbane staple Fat Noodle has made the move over
to the new development, bringing celeb chef Luke Nguyen's
iconic South East Asian flavours to a brand new setting.
That's just the beginning though_once it's finally complete, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will be home to dozens of
new cafes, bars and restaurants, three world-class hotels, luxury retailers, public spaces and of course, the new casino, The Star Brisbane.
The Star Grand Hotel is already welcoming guests, and other venues such as those along The Terrace and
on the Sky Deck will open progressively throughout
the following months. After close to a decade of planning
and construction, Queen_s Wharf and its star resident, The

The champagne bar and restaurant will dish up modern interpretations of
traditional French dishes in a stunning, Parisian-inspired space complete with a leafy alfresco area
and three private dining rooms. Taking out the title of highest rooftop bar in Brisbane, Cicada Blu is located 100 metres up on the Sky Deck_and the views are unmatched.
On offer you will find all the popular menu items including share plates, pizzas, burgers,
Devonshire tea and a children_s menu.
The Queen's Wharf Skydeck is constructed from steel and
comprises of three spans of 25 m, 30 m and 35 m, bridging between the towers of the development (named IT1, IT2, IT3 and IT4).
Using IDEA StatiCa, Dallas Lee, a principal engineer at the Robert Bird Group, and his team gained the precise flexibility needed to model the three-dimensional truss nodes accurately,
safely, and efficiently. Comprising four towers spanned by three fabricated steel truss bridges, structure consisted of complex geometry.
On Saturday afternoon, Reddit user mathieu_au posted on the r/brisbane page that the Sky Deck_s
glass walkway had been "shut by security as a huge crack has appeared".

Open from 3pm to late Wednesday through to Sunday, Cicada Blu is the perfect setting
to transition from day to night and features exotic elixirs,
botanical infusions and bar-snacks.
Sky Deck_s Executive Chef, Shayne Mansfield, has collaborated with his
team and local producers to curate dishes that reflect Aloria_s unique
surroundings matched with seasonal flavours for
an exceptional dining experience. "The massive Queen_s Wharf Brisbane project is delivering nearly 2,000 jobs during peak construction and 8,000 jobs in total including through the supply chain and hospitality once it_s open." Cicada
Blu welcomes walk-in guests for casual drinks and stunning views, operating from 3 pm until
late on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from noon until late on Fridays through Sundays.
With tasty Aussie favourites including BBQ grilled plates and classic comforts,
the menu here is designed to be shared, so fire up the
group chat and meet your mates above the Queen Street Mall.
Hotel guests get special discounts at the Sky Deck_s
restaurants and bars. A short walk or a ferry
ride away from the Sky Deck, Kangaroo Point Cliffs sets the perfect spot for scenic walks and even cafe and restaurant hopping.
Just across the Neville Bonner Bridge, we found ourselves in a vibrant precinct_the South Bank Parklands.
Babblers has a modern interior, and the natural lighting
that comes in makes everything vibrant. If you find yourself

river, it also deposits you right on the door step of the Sky Deck.
If arriving by City Cat, the North Quay Ferry Terminal
is just a short walk away.

yuzu number, and one with ume, cane spirit and dark rum
_ to really transport you to the tiny cocktail bars of Japan. You can order

with the nine-plate tasting menu for $160. It_s helmed
by executive chef Shayne Mansfield, who was part of the opening team at London_s Michelin-starred City Social.

Hit level 4 on the elevator and be transported to a poolside lounge surrounded by vibrant yellow and white striped umbrellas (no hustle
and bustle here). Strut on up to Crystalbrook Vincent's rooftop bar, Fiume,
that boasts spectacular views of Howard Smith Wharves,
the Brisbane CBD, and the Brisbane River all in one glorious panorama.

is better than your average sky high haunt.
